To Add Wings to a Tiger
In the Year of the Tiger, 2022, Beijing Watch presents the "Adding Wings to the Tiger" tourbillon wristwatch, combining exquisite watchmaking craftsmanship with the profound heritage of Eastern culture, to wish for auspiciousness and good fortune.
It describes the act of providing additional strength or support to someone or something that is already very powerful, enabling them to become even more formidable or successful.
Using solid gold inlay, the three-dimensional pattern of a golden tiger is depicted. The golden tiger looks back with a proud roar, overlooking all directions, striding across heaven and earth, showcasing the majestic aura of the king of tigers.
Tiananmen Logo at 3 o'clock
Representing the splendid culture and profound history of China, Tiananmen serves as a symbol. As the brand logo of Beijing Watch, it embodies the inherent strength and cultural heritage of the Beijing Watch brand from its inception.
The black dial is finely decorated with unique twisted wire patterns, evenly dynamic, and the fine lines change with the flow of light and shadow, resembling splashing waves, complementing the brilliance of the golden tiger bamboo branches.
At the 9 o'clock position, the ancient seal script is used to depict a golden tiger, showcasing the profound essence of Eastern culture.
Insight into the Beauty of Machinery
The inscription "寅虎" on the bottom cover is inspired by the invaluable treasure of Nanjing Zhan Garden, the "Tiger Son Stele," which is hailed as the "first ancient stele under heaven" and has a legendary history. It is said to have been bestowed by Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang to the renowned general Xu Da, known as the "Tiger General," after he declared himself emperor. The stele, about 2 feet wide and 1.5 meters tall, bears the majestic cursive script character for "tiger," resembling a roaring tiger. Within the character "虎," there hides the profound meaning, and upon careful observation, one can discern the words "富甲天下" (wealthy and respected under heaven).
Black watch strap, crafted from imported cowhide material, soft and delicate, with a bamboo joint pattern for a steady and elegant appearance. Comes with a complimentary black alligator leather watch strap, offering a luxurious and prestigious option. With two straps included, it showcases extraordinary demeanor.
