Dragon and Phoenix Bring Auspiciousness
In traditional Chinese culture, the dragon represents masculine power and dignity, while the phoenix represents feminine grace and tranquility. This expression is often used to describe the deep love and enduring companionship between husband and wife, as well as to depict scenes of successful endeavors and good fortune.
Enamel Technique
The dial is crafted using the cloisonné enamel technique, where metal wires are first used to outline the pattern on the metal base, fixed with natural adhesives, and then soldered onto the metal base. Different colored enamel glazes are then filled into the outlined patterns. Due to the uniqueness of handcraftsmanship and subtle temperature variations, each cloisonné dial is one-of-a-kind.
