A City Weathered by a Thousand Years
Immersing in the essence of the word "hidden," the Hidden Edge series encapsulates the spirit of an ancient stronghold through intricate designs on both the case and strap. From the profile view, a palace emerges, symbolizing the epitome of "having a fortress in one's heart while seeing the world at large." Set in a palette of black and gold, with a gunmetal vertically brushed dial, it exudes a soft and delicate texture. A golden palace, subtly revealed from the side, evokes the solemnity of the "Hall of Supreme Harmony" within the Forbidden City, reminiscent of its golden glazed tiles.
Weathered by a millennium of trials, the ink-dark citadel stands as the pinnacle of the capital, vying for supremacy. Flanked by grand vermilion gates, a central citadel rises proudly, encapsulating the city's enduring legacy through centuries of tumultuous history.

Equipped with the Chinese swallow tourbillon movement, providing 60 hours of power reserve, featuring a free-sprung balance, developed by Master Xu Yaonan, known as the 'Father of Chinese Tourbillon,' representing China's leading level in complex precision machinery. Crafted from titanium aerospace material, it boasts exceptional resistance to oxidation and corrosion, ensuring enduring wear. Weighing only 0.3g, it is light as a cicada's wing.
Tiananmen Logo at 3 o'clock
Representing the splendid culture and profound history of China, Tiananmen serves as a symbol. As the brand logo of Beijing Watch, it embodies the inherent strength and cultural heritage of the Beijing Watch brand from its inception.
The exquisitely textured dial, adorned with delicate grains of cinnabar, is meticulously dotted with ink, imbuing it with a charming allure.
The manually synthesized sapphire crystal glass mirror provides exceptional clarity and durability, boasting a Mohs hardness of 9, second only to diamond, ensuring superior scratch resistance and quality.
Nominated In GPHG Tourbillon Category
Check out these first images of the Beijing Watch Factory 'State of Mind’, being considered in the Tourbillon and Escapement category of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève. There is stiff competition in the category with the likes of Arnold & Son, Zenith, and Ulysse Nardin, to name a few. In terms of striking color use and design, I've never seen anything quite so bold from the Beijing brand.
There are a lot of insane watches in the category, no doubt, but this watch is straight-up funky. GPHG judges take many factors into consideration, but I hope they'll consider this: among all the watches in the Tourbillon and Escapement category, this Beijing entry is by far the most affordable. Priced at 3'520 CHF or around $3,650 USD, ‘State of Mind’ is nearly 5x less expensive than the next lowest competing watch.
Insight into the Beauty of Machinery
Featuring a transparent case back design, the movement is fully visible, allowing for a thorough appreciation of the beauty of the mechanics as the watch operates.
The BJ imprint engraved on the back of the watch is an exclusive symbol of Beijing Watch.
The textured leather strap is crafted from high-quality cowhide, offering a refined and rustic feel. It feels comfortable on the wrist and its natural hue makes it easy to pair with any outfit.
With a water resistance of 50 meters, it is suitable for daily wear, unaffected by splashes or sweat.
Commemorative Collection, Limited Edition Masterpieces!
Equipped with the Beijing Flying Tourbillon Movement TB01-2DN, featuring a 1 o'clock position power reserve indicator and a 7-9 o'clock position calendar display, limited to 99 pieces.
The power reserve subdial displays the energy storage status of the mainspring, a sophisticated function exclusive to mechanical watches, allowing you to monitor the watch's operation at any time.
The steel bold Arabic numeral hour markers exude a rugged and robust texture, enhancing the wearer's masculine and resolute demeanor.
With a subdial for the date function located at the 6 o'clock position, it not only fulfills the practicality of timekeeping but also adds to the overall design aesthetic
