From its inception, Beijing Watch has set itself the goal of being China's leading watch brand, pioneering in each era, crafting high-end timepieces, and inheriting Chinese culture.     On June 19th, 21 watchmaking pioneers founded the Beijing brand, opening the door to the world of watchmaking.

    The first watch of the Beijing brand, known as the "Model One", made its debut, representing a milestone in the history of Beijing Watch.

  • 1960

    Beijing Watch welcomes a new milestone with its new location in Changping District, Beijing.

  • 1963.10

    On October 16th, then Mayor of Beijing, Peng Zhen, who was one of the decision-makers behind the establishment of Beijing Watch, advanced the birth and development of the brand and visited to provide guidance, giving full recognition to Beijing Watch.

    Beijing Watch launched the Model Two and Model Two Ladies' watches, fully considering the needs of women in design. The introduction of watches specifically tailored for women revolutionized the concept of women owning their own timepieces, marking a significant milestone.

    On June 9th, Chairman Zhu De encouraged Beijing Watch to continue opening new chapters.

  • 1966

    Beijing Watch unveiled the Model Five and Model Five Ladies' watches, stirring up a sensation with their sleek and elegant design styles.

  • 1973

    The most influential mechanical movement in the Chinese watchmaking industry, the Unified Movement, was successfully prototyped and put into production by Beijing Watch.

  • 1995

    Master watchmaker Mr. Xu Yaonan began the research and design of tourbillon movements for the Beijing brand, later earning the title of "Father of Chinese Tourbillon".

  • 1996

    Beijing Watch successfully completed three tourbillon prototypes, named TB95, marking a significant achievement for the watchmaking brand.

  • 2001

    Beijing Watch achieved a new breakthrough in craftsmanship, with timepieces featuring the TB01 movement, which is thinner and incorporates visible and calendar functions.

  • 2004

    Beijing Watch publicly released its first limited edition tourbillon wristwatch in red gold, limited to 30 pieces, and it was bestowed with the title of "Chinese Tourbillon".

  • 2005

    Beijing's Chinese Tourbillon Platinum Watch and Platinum Moon Phase Watch are released in limited quantities, marking the first platinum wristwatches from a Chinese brand.

  • 2006

    The "Dancing Dragons" gold-carved tourbillon wristwatch debuted at the Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Fair. This timepiece set seven records in the history of watchmaking, with over 100 parts intricately micro-carved. Former Vice Premier of the State Council, Mr. Zou Jiahua, personally inscribed the words "Dancing Dragons, Universe in the Palm". In September of the same year, the watch was collected for 1 million RMB.

    In April, the Beijing Tourbillon Minute Repeater Watch "Han Feng" was unveiled at the Basel International Watch Fair, featuring 351 components. The minute repeater is a complex function in mechanical watches and one of the greatest challenges in watchmaking craftsmanship.

    Beijing Watch created the "Athena" deep relief gold watch, with nearly twenty million cuts on the dial and plates combined. The dial is only 1.5 millimeters thick, with the thinnest part of the background measuring just 0.02 millimeters. Exquisitely intricate and breathtaking.

    On December 14th, Beijing Watch donated the "Yingxiu" hollow mechanical women's watch to the China Siyuan Project Poverty Alleviation Foundation. The proceeds of the auction, totaling 48,000 yuan, were entirely used for the "Rose Valley Project" in Beichuan County, one of the hardest-hit areas of the Wenchuan earthquake on May 12th.





  • 2009

    In July, the "Tai Chi" double-axis stereoscopic tourbillon made its debut at the Shenzhen International Watch Exhibition. This tourbillon rotates simultaneously around two perpendicular axes, significantly enhancing its resistance to the force of gravity. However, the difficulty level also increases exponentially.

  • 2010

    The "Butterflies in Love" double-sided enamel movement tourbillon wristwatch draws inspiration from classical culture. It pioneered the full manual production of double-sided cloisonné enamel on the main plate of the tourbillon movement. It was successfully auctioned for 896,000 yuan at the Beijing Poly Auction Company's autumn auction.

  • 2011

    In July, Beijing Watch successfully prototyped the B24 double barrel double escapement regulator mechanism movement. Concurrently, they launched the "Fu Lu Shou Xi" 18K gold enamel watch and the "Ruja" 18K gold watch featuring a pearl mother-of-pearl composite dial, both equipped with the B24 movement.

  • 2013

    The successful development of the "Wuji" - China's first three-axis stereoscopic double tourbillon watch - is a tribute to Beijing Watch's 55-year dedication to watchmaking tradition.

  • 2015

    Beijing Watch has always been at the forefront, continuously pushing the boundaries of watchmaking technology. They have introduced the ultra-thin tourbillon movement TB10, reducing the movement thickness to 2.9mm while increasing the power reserve to 80 hours.
